Good Corporate Governance requires that the performance of a Board of Directors and that of each of it’s members be evaluated formally once a year.

We provide independent Board and Board Committees annual assessments by way of focused questionnaires and individual interviews with each board member. This is followed by a workshop to debrief jointly and formulated the way forward. The evolution is qualitative rather than quantitative. We have therefore refrained from giving number ratings. Instead, we value the narratives of making events during the period considered. 

This is in line with King IV recommendations of apply and explain. Each question requires a comment, not just a number or a yes/no. The evolution covers both compliance and governance. the thrust is towards a learning Board that improves continuously.
